WORLD VIEW CHART 2
World view chart: origin of all things
Introduction
Religion is the social aspect of human life that defines the belief in the existence of a
power greater than human beings on the face of the earth and is responsible not only for the
origins of humankind and the universe but also for the control of all events and occurrences in
the world. As much as the religions of the earth are varied, the core beliefs remain similar, a
greater being in charge of all and are omnipotent. Some religions within the matrix include
Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Judaism among others. However, the universal
origin isn't tied only to religion but other beliefs and studies too (Turner, 2015)
Although a majority of the earth's populace believe in universal creation from a superior
being, a substantial number to think otherwise and derive the explanation of existence from
geographic and scientific studies citing the big bang theory, passing star theory, Nebula cloud
theory among other theories to justify their opinions. However, it is still inconclusive to point out
the origins of the earth with factual evidence hence everything is considered an approach
including religion itself.
The major seven religions of the world by numbers are Christianity, Islam, nonreligious,
Hinduism, Chinese traditional religion, Buddhism and prima-religious. Christianity is the leading
religion with subdivisions that have fundamentally similar opinions with differences on some
issues within the parameters of religion. Islam on the other hand, is a homogenous unit with
believers strewn mainly over the middle-eastern hemisphere of the globe and the geographical
areas inhabited by Arabs.
