Started with just one staff member, the company has now grown to a team of 35, thanks to continuous business growth and consistent global market demand. As one of the top three airsoft companies in Hong Kong, eHobby offers airsoft lovers a wide range of products, from automatic electric guns to gas blowback guns, from spring guns to combat gear, from accessories to relevant publications. 80% of eHobby'swebsite traffic comes from Europe and the United States while the remaining 20% comes from Hong Kong. "The airsoft market is getting more competitive globally as resellers and end-users in the West are finding ways to order directly from the factories in Asia instead of purchasing from us," said Joseph Chai, managing director of eHobby Asia. "In this highly competitive market, we need to offer our customers a seamless user experience and ensure our website can be accessed 24/7 to make sure they will return for their next purchases." eHobby Asia opened its first e-shop on eBay in 2003, targeting mainly the Western markets such as the United States, United Kingdom, France, Italy, and the Netherlands.
