CONFLICT MANAGEMENT 2
Managing Conflict in the Workplace
Conflicts in the working environment are quite common and happen on a regular basis;
however, what is important is how they are resolved and the manner in which they are handled.
A conflict simply arises when one or more parties in the medical environment disagree over
some issue(s) and fail to come to an agreement (Bazin et al., 2014). It takes the efforts of an
impartial party to resolve the conflict and ensure that a peaceful and respectful working
environment is re-instated.
To be able to gauge whether the conflict has been effectively solved, there is a need for
communication and providing feedback to both parties in addition to the relevant authorities
