Cold War

The cold war is a state or situation where there is tension among nations that is generated

by propaganda and threats from the opposition side. The hostility state created by politicians

inciting their followers and issuing threats to other nations or fellow political leaders could be a

major challenge that the world is facing. The major cause of cold war is the fight over power and

rule. Nations want to be superior and political leaders want to rule the world (George). The

effects of the World War I that was catalyzed by the threats can experience the results of cold

war and other rigid regulations imposed to other nations by the superior countries.

Decolonization (after 1945 to present)

Decolonization is the act of getting out of the colonial rule and attaining freedom. The

dependency of a country o another is characterized as being colonized. Without the support of

the colonizing country, the colonized state cannot manage to perform its activities. An example

of a nation that was decolonized after 1945 was India. The nation gained freedom from eh

England people. Apart from the country of India, many of the African countries gained their

independence after the World War II (Kennedy). Decolonization brings about the management

of self-resources and other facilities within the native people of a nation rather than the resources

and activities carried out by the colonizers who aim at benefiting from other people’s resources.

Charlemagne

Charlemagne is known to be the King of Franks and was crowned as the first Holy

Roman Emperor. He is also known as Charles I or Chares eh Great. He was the man who

subdued the Bavarians and the Saxons during his military conquests. Charles followed his

father’s seat and removed the Lombards from power to rule. The rule of Charles started in 768

and ruled until 800, the time he got crowned as “Emperor” on Christmas Day by Pope Leo III.

Charlemagne demonstrated the power and the manner leaders should conduct themselves in the

society (Fried, Johannes, and Peter).
