Managing change is a necessity that organizations need to adapt and create a multi-
dimensional approach in conceptualizing change since change is either positive or negative. Not
all organizational changes are positive and well-received, as some changes have an economic

a systematic approach that helps leaders deal with transformation and set goals that make the
entity sustainable and productive. Change agents need to research to ascertain the possibility of

turbulence has had a significant impact on external and internal factors that organizations rely on
in decision-making to sustain productivity. Companies tend to redesign economic incentives to

approaches and the rationale of the consequences that the organization in the scenario might cost
its stakeholders if the company shuts down 25 percent of its stores.
Consequences That Might Occur Once the Decision to Shut Down 25 Percent of Stores Is
Actualized
The large national clothing brand's decision to shut down 25 percent of its stores will
incur a multi-dimensional approach on the employees and the organization at large. The decision
will have a different impact towards the employees and the organization, creating productivity
setbacks. According to table 6.3, the organization will gain since it will remain in the market,
subsidizing its operations by closing other stores and having an e-commerce model. The
consequences will be negative for the employees as it will lead to a retrenchment in the
