The four Ps denote the product, price, place, and promotion which are the key factors
involved in marketing a good or service. They are applied in different organizations to evaluate
how the products or services are perceived, stand out, interact, and meet their customers' needs.
The 4Ps are crucial in operating a successful business and implementing an effective program.
The healthcare marketplace is also experiencing advanced technology and increased competition
as patients are left with numerous options to choose from (Ali, 2019). Since this program project
focuses on lessening the prevalent healthcare disparities among most African American
adolescent boys in the United States, it will have to develop a marketing strategy that follows the
4Ps to ensure efficient operation and implementation in the healthcare marketplace.
The product focuses on what is offered to meet the customer’s needs; it could be goods or
services. Patients will visit a healthcare facility intending to receive healthcare services, and the
health providers are obliged to deliver products that will potentially improve their quality of life.
The product line can include medication, testing kits, consulting services, and follow-ups
(Timotin, 2019). The physicians have the role of determining the most suitable product that will
meet the needs of the target group. Benefits associated with the products will influence the
behavior of people by motivating them towards using the products or adhering to the mentioned
instructions.
Since disparities mostly occur following instances of insurance status, income, and age,
the finances weigh heavily on the minds of citizens and young adults based on healthcare rates.
Ali,( 2019) stated that the price perspective will be considered in the program as the providers
need to find strategies to make their services and products more affordable which is an option
