Answer to Discussion Question # 01
Occupational health and safety is a series of measures and the corresponding
activities adloyee’s income, prevent employee from injury and create less stress from
employee, thus employee may obtain more physical and psychological satisfaction.
Occupational health and safety management includes accident investigation and
recording, work system designing, examination of workplace, training, complete
incentives, supervision and employee aids plan (Matin, et. al., 2001).
Regulatory agencies are expected to produce an excessive amount of regulations.
The agencies are a government department that has the responsibility over the legislation
for a given sector. These agencies exist a federal and state level and impact a variety of
businesses through regulations and compliance laws (Regulatory agency, 2013). The role
of governmental regulatory agencies and its effect on the occupational safety and health
are very important.
