Introduction
Amazon is a multinational company that is based in Seattle, USA. The company
operates with e-commerce, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence by incorporating
modern technology in their operations. According to revenue, Amazon is the world's biggest
online retailer. Jeff Bezos, the owner and founder of Amazon believed that the best way to win
the online market was to expand large and quickly when he first began selling books in 1994.
From books to foodstuffs to shipping container homes, the corporation now offers a wide range
of products. It has become a one-stop shop and plans for the future are enormous. Amazon has
been able to carry out its functions efficiently because of an appropriate enterprise architecture
that it uses. It is important to note that organizations are structured and operated according to
an enterprise architecture. When it comes to an organization's long-term and short-term goals,
enterprise architecture serves as a guide. Analysis, planning, design, and implementation all
fall under the scope of enterprise architecture (Liang & Liu, 2018). Furthermore, a company
will benefit from an understanding of the larger business strategy, as well as the problems and
threats it faces when it uses an enterprise architecture. As a result, enterprise architecture plays
a critical role in bringing together and managing the many departments of a corporation. A
better understanding of company capabilities may also assist people discover business gaps,
from which they can make more educated judgments.
