People in the corporate world have adopted a bad habit of stealing their colleaguesfood
from the organization fridge. At times the food even is labeled the owner's name but this does
not stop the food thieves from taking the food. Some of the religion has certain beliefs when it
comes to food. In Judaism food has to be prepared in a certain way, there are restrictions on
certain foods such as dairy, when someone stealing the food they have no idea of how the food is
prepared, this goes against the beliefs of Judaism. Individuals should behave in ways that benefit
others; stealing the other person's food does the opposite of that. Ethical decisions are not
normally resolved easily and some people have different views, there are six views of ethical
decisions. The utilitarian view of ethics supports this behavior of stealing food because one of
the parties benefit from it (Parnell, 2013).
