There are some interesting facts about President George Bush. President Bush was born

in July 6

1946 in New Haven Connecticut. He was the first born in the family that had six

children. Interestingly, there is also another president whose son was also elected as the president

of the US. This is John Adams. His son was John Quincy Adams. Both father and son were the

presidents respectively. On the other hand, George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush

were the 41

and 43

presidents (House, 2005). Interestingly both sons in both families had very

similar names to their fathers.

Interestingly, of the 43 presidents of the United States up until the time George W. Bush

was elected, there was none who had acquired an MBA. George W. Bush was the most learned

of the 42 former presidents. He had an MBA degree. In his final year in high school, Bush was

actually the head of the cheerleading team (House, 2005). You would perhaps think the president

to be would have been engaged in more serious departments. He was even able to become a pilot

with the Texas Air National Guard. He was actually a very ambitious person and a go getter too.

This is probably how he also came across and managed to court Laura Welch. Interestingly,

George met Laura in the same year that he married her and got twin daughters with her.

It has been said in the past that ‘the strength of a man is the woman behind him’ and

perhaps Laura came in Bush’ life for a reason. Before they married, Bush was too much in

alcohol. Apparently, he could be said to have been an alcoholic. However, when Laura came in

his life, he started changing and was finally able to quite alcohol. Interestingly, President Bush

has been arrested at some point in his life at the age of 30. He was charged with driving under

the influence of alcohol. As a result, his license was suspended for two years (House, 2005).
