Executive Summary This project is a continuation of the topic “Financial services sector in India” in the last term I discussed the importance and the role played by financial services sector in the Indian economy. I also discussed about the various products and services available in the Indian financial sector. In this term we will talk about the global financial service sector and compare Indian financial services with the global financial services. The industry profile which will be discussed in detail will help us understand the financial services industry in detail. The operations of Religare enterprise limited will be discussed in detail. REL is one of the leading financial service providers in India. This project will also help us understand the global financial service industry. INTRODUCTION In the last semester we spoke about the Financial Service Sector in India.
