Personality Psychology
Personality Psychology is a division in the psychology studies, which focus on
personality traits of an individual and how it differs among various persons. Psychology of
personality has six main domains of knowledge that explains the nature of humans. A domain of
knowledge is an area specialized in scholarship and science, whereby psychologist place their
focus on educating themselves more on the precise and narrow aspects of human nature (Wolfe,
2009).
The dispositional domain is among one of the six domains of knowledge. It has its focus
in methods which a person is different from the other. One of the characteristics is that it is
interested in the nature and number of core characters of an individual; this is what differentiates
it from the rest of the domain. It identifies what makes an individual different from the other.
The biological domain is another, and its main feature is that it assumes that people are the initial
and foremost, biological systems collections and the said systems offer the building blocks for a
particular thought, behavior, and emotion, which is how an individual reacts, is because of their
biological systems. Intrapsychic domain focus on mental personality mechanisms, which usually
is not part of the conscious awareness since it operates outside the conscious awareness. One of
its features is that the instinctual system, that is aggressive and sexual forces are acknowledged
to energize and drive most of the human activities, which means these forces are the influential
in influencing human behavior. The cognitive-experimental domain deals with subjective and
cognition experiences. It characteristic includes explaining that one's experiences entail self-
concept and self whereby an individual descriptive aspect organizes how they view themselves.
Social and cultural domain, it features is that it describes personality does not exist in our heads
