A leader is no leader without followers. At Coca-Cola, I have learned that successful
leadership is not a one-man effort, but a responsibility that involves interactions with other
people. It is in these interactions that a leader’s vision comes to reality. Yes, in Coca-Cola
Company we are driven by team spirit. We are interdependent individuals our skills and
expertise create synergies to achieve our business goals. This year, I purpose to be an effective
team leader, and I believe we all do. In my journey to realize this, I stumbled upon the most
amazing literature. And before you ask, yes, Im pleased to share.
While several models of team leadership exist, the Hill’s model bests reflect how we can
achieve effective team leadership in our company. Let’s have a look at it!
