A VPN CAN STOP INTERNET COMPANIES FROM SELLING YOUR DATA BUT IT’S NOT A MAGIC BULLET
A popular recommendation for the internet privacy is use of virtual private network popularly
known as VPN. Simply the VPN, create a secure and encrypted connection between the computing
device and a private servers ,this ensures that no one is interfering, modifying or even seeing your
traffic. This nevertheless does not provide a 100% as the VPN Company can still access your
traffic and the law enforcer can still request for such traffic. The right VPN should have the
capabilities to protect one from most of the things including the government surveillance and even
malwares. This all comes a week after the congress voted to revoke the law that would allow the
Internet service Provider to sell one Browsing history and the traffic, and thus the need to introduce
to you more secure way to navigate the internet.
AN although the VPN has proven to be the intermediate solution in securing ones traffic-it isn’t a
magic privacy tool, some of the security expert still question the VPN due to the availability of
large numbers of the companies offering this services. Those many services could have large
potential of having security flaws and thus a risk to your data. The expert also recommends one to
avoid the use of free VPN services. But at large the only solution that can work is having the best
policies, which should be set to tackle the problem at the source.
