Rock Music
The music genre called heavy metal is a development of the period between the late
1960’s and early 70’s within the UK as well as the US and deeply rooted in the psychedelic as
well as blues- rock genres of music. Bands played the music that all adopted thick music with
massive and high amplification of the sound. Among the primary characteristics of heavy metal
music is the loudness as well as distortion of guitars, rhythmic emphatics, great vigor vocals, and
high-density bass and drum sound. The bands playing heavy metal are usually made up of a
drum player, three guitarists: bass, rhythm, and lead guitarists, who were accompanied by a solo
singer. The singer does not necessarily have to play any instrument (Pearlin, 2014).
Among the most prominent names in heavy metal is Judas Priest as well as Black

Black Sabbath was a Birmingham-based rock band founded in 1968 by Tommy Iommi alongside
Geezer Butler, Ozzy Osbourne, and Bill Ward who played the roles of guitarist cum writer,
bassist, primary lyricist, singer, and drummer respectively. The group was however founded with
the name blues rock band before adopting the name Black Sabbath. Judas priest was also formed
in Birmingham around 1969 and has gained increased popularity over the years (Pearlin, 2014).

San Francisco as well as the punks of New York. The genre is usually accompanied by drums,
vocals, as well as a bass and an electric guitar. The major bands that specialized in the genre
