Shopping Situation

Some different ways that Carmen could have responded to the salesperson include
requesting the salesperson to ask his or her colleague to attend to her within a short period.
Carmen could have also asked the salesperson to attend to her since at that point; she also needed
customer service only that she had a different need.

Contacting the store manager was the best idea since the manager is a leader who should
be responsible for resolving such issues. There is no other way that Carmen could have
responded apart from contacting the store manager.

I would have contacted the store manager immediately and I could not have left the shoes
that I wanted behind. I would also have reported the issue of the salesperson having a bad
attitude to the authority in charge.

I have ever encountered a similar situation to that of Carmen. My experience was in a
grocery store and I was treated meanly by a salesperson. I reported the issue to another colleague
who attended for me immediately and apologized on behalf of the other salesperson. If a similar
situation happens today, I will handle it the way I could have handled it before. I will still report
the issue to the manager or supervisor.
