There are several forces that affect any employee’s work experience. These are
both external and internal factors. Externally, the length of time through which an employee has
been working affects their experience. A shorter duration gives an employee limited chances of
landing a job while a longer duration means greater work experience therefore better chances of
landing a job.
External communication affects one’s work experience. The way a company
decides to communicate with customers and others reflects the image thus reflecting back on the
employees and their experience too. Lastly, a company’s culture and image also affects an
employee’s work experience. A renowned company with an amazing organizational culture has a
great effect on the work experience of an employee as the person will be highly regarded in the
industry.
Internally, a leader that is committed to instilling competitive skills in the
employees helps grow the work experience that one has thus making such a person to be in
demand and to help grow the company itself through meeting desired goals and objectives.
Second, if an organization has a corporate culture of encouraging communication in whichever
case, then an employee has higher chances of increasing their work experience since his
questions are given responses therefore improving the delivery of services to clients.
Finally, the corporate structure affects an employee’s experience. This is
important especially when it comes to the sitting arrangement. An open plan arrangement
encourages a free flow of information between employee’s thus increasing knowledge on a
subject and the work experience an employee holds. The external factors above have affected my
ability to seek for jobs. The internal forces encourage my ability to express my concerns to my
