Electronic circuits are used in electronic communication to process, transmit and receive
data between two or more individuals or locations (Fogel, 2017). First, the data is encoded and
converted to a digital format as an analog or digital signal by the sender. The signals are transmitted
through simple electrical impulses using various channels or mediums called transmitters to the
receiver. The receiver decodes and processes the electronic information delivered as digital
signals. The ASCII table is the character encoding standard designed from the telegraph for
electronic communication (Wadisman et al., 2021). It contains numbers, control characters, letters,
and symbols. A unique 7-bit code is assigned character. It converts data into standard digital format
to allow computers to efficiently process, modify, and store information and facilitate
communication and exchange of information in different languages.
In my opinion, Base-2 system was the best to form data. This is because Base 2 system is
a mathematical expression technique that uses two numerical symbols only; zero and one
(Mansour et al., 2015). With the current electronic technology, the base-2 binary system is widely
used in all computer-based systems and devices because it uses simple language and has a
straightforward implementation process. It is relatively cheaper than the base-10 system, whose
digits have 10 values ranging between zeros to nine. The other bases are fiendishly expensive and
hard to implement.
