Ethical investments are those made in companies that take into account the wider impact of their activities on society + environment. While they aim to make profits, they also take into account social + environmental criteria when making their business decisions. Ethical investment comes under the general heading of CSR but is more specific. It's a recent trend that aims to meet people's needs (how their money is used) Many financial services providers support many charities. This means that they make donations but it sometimes goes further than this and can involve the provider forming a partnership with a charity and sponsoring fundraising or a sporting events.
