In the first part of your research paper you collected information about why this issue is so pertinent, what the violations were and what the harms were to people. In this part of your research paper (roughly 2-3 pages) you will address the human rights laws and treaties surrounding your human rights issue and explain to us what needs to be done to help remedy this issue. You will finish the work of creating your " injustice frame " (Lecture on TANS and Amnesty and Irene Khan's talk), by showing us why these violations are wrong according to international and national laws and let us know what we and others (including any states involved) should be doing to rectify the violations and stop the harms. So this part of your research will:1. explain the international laws and national laws that apply in your specific case and show why they are not working to address the issue. 2. Then the last step of the injustice frame we discussed in the Amnesty International case is the "call to action" or "call to arms". You may either address this as policy changes that need to be made by governance or you may address your peers and civil society (or a combination of both).
