MATERNAL NUTRITION AND LOW BIRTH WEIGHT PUBLIC HEALTH PRESENTATION Introduction: Maternal Nutrition  Fetal health and survival during pregnancy heavily relies on the ability of the mother to provide critical nutrients through the intake of appropriate, nutrient-dense foods (King, 2016).
