Analyzing the article; Some Lessons from the Assembly Line
The audience the analysis of my selected article, “some lessons from assembly line”,
(Braaksma), could be students either in their high school or higher learning institution. The
analysis will give the students a reason ad a motivation to focus more on their studies with a
hope to get better jobs, white collar jobs and to also be assured of the longevity of their future
jobs. The essay provides a real life narration of a student, Andrew Braaksma, struggling to attain
his college life through the money he earns from working as a casual laborer in an automotive
plant. The Braaksma does a lot of job in the company to save money for his schooling. His
experience in the job gives him more vigor to work harder in his studies to have a better future.
This narration will motivate the students who have had the privilege of going through high
school education and even college education to be serious with their studies. The analysis will
also provide a caution to the students of the uncertainty of blue collar jobs. If the students fail to
attain the expected academic qualifications, they may be forced to live Andrew Braaksma’s life,
while working in the automotive company, in their entire after college life. In addition to this, the
students will also work hard to be certain of their jobs.
It is important to analyze the article to collect the primary lessons from the authors

out the lessons of the article. Analyzing the article will emphasize the importance of better
education using Braaksma’s experience but not just a narration of his life. This will concentrate
the author’s goal of promoting education. It will also summarize the article thus motivating the
reader to read through it.
My goal of analyzing Andrew Braaksma’s article is to show the importance of good
education and to promote it among the learning age. To make the author’s goal more solid in the
reader’s minds, I will provide an additional information giving the merits of a good education as
well as contrast the success of the learned against the unlearned. This will bring the future of the
learners to today and will help them to put more focus on the education. Andrew Braaksma’s
experience will be an exemplary illustration of the blue collar kind of life, but a deeper
exposition of the topic will enable the reader to take a more informed decision. Besides good
education promising better lives, it not always the case and therefore the analysis will also let the
readers know of the possible unexpected frustrations after long learning.
