The Lion King represents courage and values
The Lion King is an inspirational story about Simba, a lion cub who grows up fast after he loses
his father and fights to gain the throne he deserves. His unique, adventurous personality causes him to
take risks at times and this often puts him in dangerous situations. His bravery, strength and good
nature prevail as he follows in the footsteps of his noble father. Simba is one of the most endearing
characters is all of Disney films and provides a good example for young people about doing the right
thing and striving for justice. Simba has a courageous soul and is dedicated to his family and the legacy
of his father, which are other good qualities that set a good example for the youth of today. His charm
and innocence are challenged by the evil forces in the story, namely his uncle Scar who will do
whatever is necessary to gain the throne. The music in the movie galvanizes the plot and brings a
magical quality to it. The story has a Shakespearean quality and reminds me of Hamlet because of the
