How does the Business Analytics Model transform the information management process in
organizations?
The business analytic model refers to the technical management of the information
systems of an organization. This model determines the proper structuring of these information
systems, which in turn bring about an increased productivity as well as high efficiency and
effectiveness in the performance of an organization. A business analytics model illustrates a
hierarchical discipline of layers through which information has to move. These movements
include motion from the business driven environment to the technical oriented environment, in
an upwards downwards portfolio. These movements facilitate effective transfer of required
information and analytics that necessitate productive business operations and management. As
such, the Business Analytics Model enables organizations as well as other concerned users to
enhance their performance in the management, as well as, administration of the information

Several types of reporting techniques exist which support business analytic reporting and
analytical processes. The process of business analysis and reporting development on the
environment requires analysts to specify the information and data that they are likely to achieve,
as well as, specify the desired behavior of operational managers through the business
environment. This refers to the information and knowledge generated the deployment of
statistical and analytical models of information. Some of the components include data
warehouse, as well as, the data sources, which include operations in IT and development.
What information strategy focuses upon analytics as a key theme?
A strategy refers to the description of the overall plan in which business to operate and
typically covers a whole year of business activities? This strategic level of business analytics

for them.
Strategy and business analytics have four major scenarios that comprise the entire
business model. These four scenarios illustrate different degrees of integration between the

business analytics function and strategies of the business. These scenarios also provide insight
into the concept and level of understanding of the organization to the mode of achieving the full
potential inherent in Business Analytics. Furthermore, these concepts also determine whether
more efforts should go into the process of optimizing and maturing extensive deployment of
Business Analytics. The first strategy in business analytics is the zero formal links between
business analytics and strategy. The second scenario is where business analytics supports strategy
at a functional level. The third strategy incorporates the dialogue between strategy and the
business analytic function while the last and fourth strategy bases on information as the strategic
resource.
Scenario 1 applies no formal link between business analytics and the strategy adopted.
The absence of these linkages is in itself a surprising notion of its existence. However, this
happens in most cases because companies tend to focus in the most visible aspects when
developing their business strategies, such as production targets, sales targets, or cost targets that
connection with its procurement systems. The second scenario is whereby the business analytics
supporting strategy at a functional level, presently called an adapted information strategy. The
business analytics function in this case is a reactive element, with a sole employment in
connection with the monitoring and evaluation of the possibility of achieving the defined targets
of a business strategy. The recipients of the reports produced in the form of key performance
indicators are individual departments in the organization, meaning that the strategic level does
not have a feedback system in which it relies for such information.
The third scenario in the business strategy involves the dialogue between strategy and
functions of business analytics. This scenario bases on the existence of a well-established data
warehouse that integrates as well as acts as storage for data. In addition, it also has an established
business analytics function that has analytical competencies that make good use of the data found
