Role of a Police Officer: Evaluation of Character References
The foundation of security in oneself, in a very society, and the world is feeling secure
and expecting that somebody will come to your aid if you're assaulted, attacked, or have property
harmed. People are in danger after they don't seem safe, and fear makes it difficult to be content.
If people believe that police are ineffectual or cause more harm than good, they will not feel safe.
At the same time, as officers are asked to reply to a more excellent range of community needs
outside of enforcement, the role of police in protecting communities and preventing criminals
has become more complicated. To hold out their tasks, police require resources and support, but
they need to do so without resorting to divisive techniques. Laws should state that police officers'
primary responsibilities include protecting victims and potential victims and promoting violator
responsibility by consistently imposing laws and procedures to ensure that the criminal justice
system examines and addresses each "honor" crime and killing. This study will review this
policy and law enforcers' handling complex and special tasks to work out the items needed to
enhance and what specific criteria a state must implement when hiring a police officer.
Competent police procedures, extensive training, carefully written policies, and adequate
resource allocation in enforcement could help ensure public safety and forestall police-citizen
confrontations from becoming abusive. No matter the organization's size, the essential parts of
staffing recruitment, hiring, retention, and promotion are critical to effective policing,
organizational efficiency, and favorable police-community relations. Problems develop when
these human resource efforts aren't in sync with the agency's strategic plan, problems develop

community's diversity; retain talent through reward systems, mentoring, and transparent
organizational justice; and supply concise criteria and objective pathways to career advancement.
