Plastic pollution
Dear Marcus Guzman,
Amazing post! I also believe that fight for a clean environment is an essential aspect
of life where as humans we are known to litter plastics in the environment which affects the
living organisms in the environment. I do agree the overproduction by many manufacturing
industries over the years has hit a record high leading to more consumption by the people
resulting to immerse trash in the society. The trash accumulated from the society gets
distributed to dumping sites where its either burned or bundled up with more trash in the site.
It’s important to note the above options do not offer any viable solution to a clean sustainable
operation as the burnt fumes will lead to air pollution hence resulting to the damage of the
ozone layer. Moreover, we need to institute proper legislation to be implemented by
governments regarding how manufacturing firms are producing their products for
consumption needs (Haward, 2018). The firms should find more bio gradable ways that limits
any soil degradation if their products get thrown by their consumers as this will ensure the
spread for clean environment to the communities. Another aspect is legally governments are
required to make random inspections on manufacturing plants to ensure their operations are
of standards as these measures ensures they cannot produce products that will be harmful to
the consumer or the environment (MacLeod et al., 2021). Conversely, governments need to
ensure that manufacturing plants do not spill their waste in nearby water streams. The
government should enact laws that will result in the punishment of firms who practice this
form of waste population as it can lead to serious health complications to the communities
around the industry (Ranniger, 2021). It’s important the government take into consideration
in regards to imposing environmental bills towards the manufacturing plants where they will
