Hi, I am impressed by your post, which states that Amazon is an already established
brand in the markets at its industries. Therefore, your post highlights that Amazon Company may
be considered to be operating in a monopolistic competition market structure because
organizations in this structure are known to compete against each other but sell products that are
different from one another (Moghadam, 2020). Furthermore, a monopoly market model is known
as having monopoly power or having the ability to change the price of the good. However, with
thousands of businesses having the right to compete against one another, several vendors in this
market parts a structure of four market structures known as pure competition, monopolistic,
oligopoly, and Pure Monopoly. Therefore, Amazon Company may be considered to be engaging
in an oligopoly market model. The competitive aspect of oligopoly is that every firm included in
this market structure is consistently looking at any changes being made, such as promotions,
production, price change, and any other new development (Victor and Jihye, 2020). This is due
to wanting to know whether the competition is doing better or worse and how their company can

Company may be competing in both Monopolistic and Oligopolistic market models.
