High-test is a test applied in making informed decisions about students, schools,
educators and districts. The test is utilized by the local, federal, state governments, and the
school administration to ensure accountability in the schools. It is intended to make sure that the
students join the efficient schools taught by qualified teachers. The term high-stakes indicates the
scores from the test will be used to define punishments such as funding declines, negative
publicity, sanctions, and penalties. Tests are also used to determine the accolades such as
positive publicity, awards, and public celebrations. The other importance of the test is a
determination of advancement including grade promotion as well as the graduation for students.
Finally, scores from the test can be used gauging the salaries where depending on the score
teachers and administrators can have their pay increased or reduced.

High-stake test as shown by the NCLD is exceedingly controversial (Gunning, 2008).
However, it is a statute dedicated to ensuring equality in all schools where it has focused
attention on the welfare of the underserved including minority students such as women,
