I Do Believe That Religion And Science Can Coexist

I do trust that both religion and science can cohabit. In the interview, the commentator explains that

one of Professor Francisco Ayala's statements was that "science and religion need not be in

contradiction if they are properly understood"... "Religion enlightens on the why and science expounds

on how... but they are one in the same". They really complement each other and they do not have to be

separate or contradictory to each other. When I think of religion, I see it as a roadmap that guides to an

predictable end, and if the directions are followed, one will make it to the right destination. The Bible

gives details on how we should live our lives to get peace, prosperity, love and happiness. However, it

does not say that there will not be hard times, grief or sadness, but it does say that there is a season for

all of these things. In my experience, all of these situations made me a better person and I do not know

if I would have learned what I do understand now without experiencing them. It also tells me how to

conduct financial business and also how to love and regard others. It provides a framework for all

humankind to follow that be guaranteed to lead to a purpose filled and meaning full life. It also gives

warning of what may happen if we do not maintain these principles and the damage that it could cause.

Sustaining my personal religion has provided me with a greater understanding of the world around me

and how to cope with the problems that I may encounter. On the other hand when I read about some of

the discoveries that have been established to attest or disprove the stories of the bible. I can understand

how science can support the ideas of religion.

Most doctors refer to a healthy BMI score between 19.5 and 25.0.BMI is an estimate of body fat and ones risk for diseases that can occur with more body fat. The higher your BMI, the higher your risk for certain diseases such as heart disease, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, gallstones, breathing problems, and certain cancers. Individuals with a BMI under 19.5 are considered underweight. A BMI this low can indicate an undernourished individual. Your body needs "meat on your bones", to be able store energy.If your BMI is between 25.0 and 29.9 you are considered overweight. Many athletes will fall into this range, and while it is true that their conditioning is high, there is still a lot of "mass" for the body to pump blood and provide oxygen to.A BMI greater or equal 30 is described as obese. Your body is under greater daily strain simply because of your weight.
