Vincent Van Gogh
Vincent Van Gogh was a famous painter of artworks based on insanity and torment.
From his artworks to his captivating life story of perseverance and passion, he’d been
fixated on his dreams. His eccentric story of producing many of today’s renowned artworks
such as The Starry night and Almond Blossom came from a very odd experience early in his
life. He suffered from a chronic mental disorder and later on he died from suicide. Even
though his artworks were never acknowledged during his lifetime and he himself thought
of them as a failure, Van Gogh’s artworks are well-loved today by many people.
Take it as his diary. Many of his paintings were inspired by his home and nature.
Due to his inability to fund his education, he taught himself how to paint at home while
honing his creativity. Indeed, failure is the true mother of success. In every chance he was
given to pursue his career, he worked hard to be the best at what he does. He took criticism
as a room for improvement and listened to other artists. He wrote to his brother Theo, "I
put my heart and soul into my work, and I have lost my mind in the process. After I was
sent to an asylum that if given a choice I would have never chosen madness.”
Vincent Van Gogh was a famous historical figure. He was my inspiration in writing.
As I was looking at the Starry night, I had a sudden realization of vivid images of a story
that my soul yearned for a long time like a missing puzzle in my life. It was only then I
began to grasp life like a light exploded inside my head. Like him who had so much anxiety
and couldn’t slow down, I began to obsess with my writing until I can no longer sleep. He
was a figure of inspiration especially his artworks.
