GENERAL INTRODUCTION
In the mid of June 2007, faculty interview in the department of management
studies at apex institute of engineering and technology, Jaipur was on its pace.
Dr. A.K.Choudhary, Head of Department, panel head was worried because the
panel were not getting any suitable candidates in marketing since morning to
match with AICTE norms. Suddenly, the next candidate name call out “Dr.
Anil” which gave a ray of hope to Dr. Choudhary. Dr Anil did his MBA from
J.N.V.University and Ph.D from the same university. Dr Choudhary was happy
with the performance of Dr. Anil who later got selected as an Senior Lecturer
in marketing.
Dr. Anil having reasonable number of teaching experience.
Possess research skill along with teaching the regular MBA subjects.
To his credit number of national publication, participated in number of
international and national conferences and seminars.
Good at analyzing the situation, leadership quality, love to work in team and
inspire and motivate the team members.
Open to confront the challenges.
INSTITUTE PROFILE
Apex Institute of Engineering & Technology is established by Sanjay Shiksha
Samiti, an educational society established in the year 1962, under S.R.Act
1958. The Institute is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated to the
Rajasthan Technical University, Kota.
The Institute is spread over an area of 8 acres of land in the RIICO
Institutional area, Sitapura, Jaipur. It has 1.5 lacs sq.ft. built up area.
AIET provides healthy educational environment that fosters innovation and
enthusiasm in students. The ultimate aim and object of the institute is to
become one of the top 10 National level Technical Institutions in the country
by 2010.
In addition to Apex Institute of Engineering & Technology, Sanjay Shiksha
Samiti is successfully running othe Academic Institutions, i.e., Sanjay Public
School, Apex Institute of Management & Science, Apex Institute of Pharmacy,
Sanjay Teachers Training College, Sanjay College of Law, etc. The
Institute/Colleges are spread over various well-developed campuses in Jaipur.

Director with pre-occupied mind refuses to hear any suggestion
ACADEMIC PROBLEMS
Lack of adequate and experienced faculties
Lack of valuable books in library
No proper arrangement of visiting/guest faculty
No management activities such as : quizs, industrial visits, summer projects
etc.
Reluctant to spend money and time on different activities like organisaing and
participation in conferences, seminars, FDP.
Lack of adequate resources for research work.
No academic calendar
ACTIVITITES
As an MBA coordinator Dr. Anil from day first started understanding the
loopholes and streamlines the various department activities with the support of
Dr. A.K.Choudhary, Ms Priyanka, Ms Deergha, and some other staff members.
Prepared academic calendar, fixed-up regular classes, arranged few visiting
/guest faculties from industry to give industrial exposure to students and let
them understand the competitive business environment.
Make the faculties to understand their role in the organisation.
Had good interaction with both the batches of management students.
With friendly environment, started helping students academically as well non-
academically.
Organised inter-college debate competition, seminar for students to nurture
their skill, despite negligible help from the director and HOD-Management in
the form of finance.
