Apple's Business Environment
Apple Inc. is known to be very reputable and a well-known provider serving their
consumers with smartphones and other quality digital devices. Apple has made firm roots within
the computing market ever since they began. This is due to the maintained quality they provide
and keep while continuously delivering these quality products to the consumer. This organization
was formally known as, “Apple Computer Inc. as it began with Steve Jobs and his other friends
Ronald Wayne and Steve Wozniak back in the early 70's (Apple, 2012). Various segments of the
industry can offer mutual funds and stock solutions. The other option is an education loan
(Costantino, C. A., and Merchant, 1996).
Five Competitive Forces Model Strengthen Organization
Michael E. Porter created this particular model called the Five Force Completive back in
1980. Since the creation of this model, companies utilize the five force tool in analyzing their
organization’s industry structure within a strategic process stage, such as Apple did (Apple,
2012). Based upon certain information that is derived from the structure of Porter’s Five Force
Analysis; there has been management divisions addressed when it pertained to how the
organizations perspectives were being influenced via exploitation of certain characteristics. This
helps allow improvement in order to strengthen their organization.
According to Michael Porter's (1997) article, the strategy is defined as: (Costantino, C.
A., and Merchant, 1996).
Strategy is the creation of a unique and valuable position, involving a different set of
activities.
