Abstract
As a contemporary method of rewarding employees, total reward plan has been
executed and used by more executives and researchers. Like all other important human
resource management techniques, there is need to evaluate the total reward system. These
strategies also need to be put into practice throughout the organization for it to be efficient
and perfect. In this paper, the concept of this reward system, which differs at all times has
been summarised through history and redesigned. Executives and the organization at large
would benefit if they incorporate this strategy well. The strategy will not only motivate
employees but will also make sure that they are dedicated and engaged in the work
environment.
