This amazing course has lot of learnings pertaining to my degree and my job as there were lot of
implications which can be applied not only towards my degree and my future workplace. For this
reason, disaster recovery is considered as the most important aspect that relates to any
Information technology organizations. One of the most critical topics that is useful towards my
degree is the concept of recovery. This includes administrative recovery, technical recovery, and
work-place recovery. All these aspects play an important role for the organizations to ensure the
recovery is happening in the right process and right manner. The recovery process would include
a combination of all these items together in which the recovery makes sense to the organizations
for completing in the right manner (Maglasang, R. 2021). The entire recovery process is very
important because in-case of a business disruption happens, the company knows how to recover
to complete the end-to-end processes in-place by ensuring the business-related operations are
resuming.
The second important aspect that I feel will be useful to my degree will be testing. This testing
process includes reviewing the existing application related infrastructure and then ensuring that
the remote site is also getting operated in the same manner it supposed to be. For this reason,
testing the existing application and infrastructure is very critical for the business operations to be
resumed in the proper manner. Once this testing process is completed, any issues those pertain
to the infrastructure or the application are considered as very important for the organizations to
complete the end-to-end testing. With the help of this testing the organization can ensure which
component or the functionality is not working and then try to ensure for fixing them in a timely
manner.
