Introduction
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) is a cost-effective modern approach to conflict
resolution that has grown from its use in commercial law to other private sectors. Its
characteristics, such as emphasis and confidentiality on mutually beneficial and acceptable
solutions, seem to have roots in disputes arising from medical negligence. The healthcare system
comprises an array of relationships, but the main relationship the discussion focuses on is
between a health care practitioner and a patient, hence the question of ADR in healthcare
Malpractice. The growing number of healthcare disputes has influenced the growing popularity
of ADR. Many scholars have shown that ADR techniques such as arbitration mediation and
bible-based dispute resolution are rational from an economic perspective and help maintain
relationships, increase satisfaction among patients and their relatives, and increase patient safety.

ADR consists of various methods to determine solutions between disputing parties while

related to civil legal duties, which may result in court litigation. Still, the parties have decided to
resolve it through confidential processes and independent individuals with particular objectivity
