One-stop Case Management
Case management is an approach that is agreed upon by some given group in a
community to help with service coordination. To achieve the intended goal, any program that is
developed emphasizes the mission that was set, the needs of the clients and the state of the
environment of operation. In the development of the model important aspects are taken into
consideration to ensure that the model meets its goals. Some of the important aspects involve
putting in mind that the environments and the organizations are not static and that the models
change. Some of the changes that may be faced include changing from informal to formal.
Processes that are involved in the service delivery depend on the flexibility, the goals to
be achieved, the weaknesses and strengths and lastly knowing the various ways involved in the
service delivery process (Rosemann, & vom Brocke, 2015). Delivery of the case management
services focuses on providing services that are comprehensive and that meet the client’s needs.
Moreover, it is important for each member of the team to engage in specific tasks and
responsibility to develop better relationships between the members and the clients. The major
goal of this management tool is to establish an intervention that is collaborative and community-
based that puts emphasis on family strength and delivers highly coordinated customized services
to the families.
One-stop case management had its main focus on a collaborative intervention that was
community-based. However, in this case, management, confidentiality between the helper and
the client is of great importance. In this aspect, discussions that are done between the client and
the case manager should not be disclosed (Jeston, 2014). In the event of sharing of the
information with others, the client should be informed on who will know the information the
reasons why the information is to be shared and the kind of information to be shared. The model
