Which conditions existed which created room for this movement?
There were several occurrences that triggered the formation for the Civil Right
Movement, which was started in the 1950’s. This events made it possible for people to see the
necessity of reorganization into movements. One of the chief event was the assassination of
Malcom X. other key events include the denial of Africans from access to key services like
schools, public bathrooms, restaurants and much more other restrictions.
What did this movement accomplish?
The Civil Rights Movement made a great achievement in attaining equity amongst all
member of the society. With this movement, the African Americans gained civil right that
matched the white Americans that also encompassed good housing, equal education, and equal
employment opportunities. The largest accomplishment was the equal right to vote for women
and African Americans.
What was the United States Government response to this movements?
The united states at first deployed armed forces at the ingress of school to deny children
the access to school. They also arrested children both white and black to det3er them from take
part in sit-in. Another response by the government was by proposing and signing of the Civil
Rights act of 1964.
What is an issue that remains to this day?
After the many achievement of the civil rights movement, currently many minorities are
facing numerous issues today like equal pay, and racism. Racism has been a delinquent ever
