THE DEPARTMENT’S “KNOW-IT-ALL” 2
Introduction
Pioneering organisations have been developing knowledge administration systems on
skills to connect intellectual capital and generate value to the enterprise. For the advancement
in the performance of any business, management must be equipped with knowledge and
expertise. Horizontal sharing of ideas in an organisation is important since it allows idea
generation from all edges of the group (Oliver & Kandadi, 2006). For the success of any
corporation, the administration must be ready to take on the advice of the employees since
they are the ones who implements the policies made. It is because they must be having a lot
to contribute towards the growth of the organisation. Employees feel part of the corporation if
they are involved in the process of making decisions. For them to feel appreciated, they thus
should be allowed to make a suggestion about the management of the enterprise.
However, employees need to find better ways to drive in their opinions. It is important
in avoiding direct commotion with those in administration. As a manager, it feels bad to be
corrected in front of your subordinates. But at the same, it is much healthy and advisable to
correct them privately. If such is done, they do not feel offended, and they will be ready to
take on the advice.
Body
Willis being an employee in the firm is knowledgeable on the management techniques
and skills. Despite the fact that he is a mere employee, he has made efforts to study a program
in management. Having pursued it and being in the second course, he stands a better position
to know how the corporation should be managed. It thus implies that implies that Willis can
point out mistakes in how their organisation is managed. He is very innocent in his thoughts
of correcting Glen, the manager. The only way in which he fails is how to approach the
manager.
