This paper discusses on the ethical behaviors that are exhibited by the sales manager who
has a personal interest concerning an award handed to the company by U.S Olympic Committee
for the production of warmth leather jackets. The organization handles the actions portrayed by
its workers thus any losses or profits culminating from the workers associated with the staff.
It is highlighted in many scholastic settings that breaches of organizational ethics can
lead to organization failure (Brown, 2006).Corruption tops the list of the vices that can see the
body fail at a faster rate than expected.
In this case, the employee is the representation of the group since the organization
cannot represent itself in this situation. As an employee, I would not keep silent to such actions
but rather take corrective and disciplinary actions to the sales manager. It will be a challenge due
to the distinction between the cadres of work (Kalshoven, 2011).Despite this, my ethical
responsibility principal would not allow this action to its fullest. The sales manager has
integration with the vice of production through his handling of responsibilities to the vice
president of production. The chain goes further thus linking the vice president of production with
his brother in law who resides in the country of interest.
These links flow in series of interest bound to all the participants of the dealings. In case
the situation is not handled quickly, there shall occur losses into the company associated with
external production (Brown, 2006).The operations are also happening secretly thus no openness
in the carrying of the contract. This wrong doing is associated with undesirable outcomes for the
stakeholders of the organization. The resultants of carrying this operation without correcting it
will see the business accrue losses. As an ethics principled guy, I would advise the management
