Job Satisfaction
According to an article written by Master of Business Administration (2019), a
Human Resource conceptualizing concepts and ideas, job Satisfaction is the degree to
which an employee feels self-motivated, pleased, and satisfied with his or her
employment is characterized as job satisfaction. When an employee thinks he or she has
employment security, professional progress, and a comfortable work-life balance, this is
referred to as job satisfaction. This indicates that the person is happy at work since the
work matches his or her expectations. Job satisfaction is one of the most important
demands of most employees in any well-structured business, and it is also important to
all corporate executives. It is expected that the future success of the company will be
determined by the level of employee happiness.
According to the study of Agbenyo et. al., (2018), regarding The Impact of Job
Satisfaction on Employees’ Loyalty and Commitment: A Comparative Study Among Some
Selected Sectors in Ghana, the study's goal is to see if work happiness has an effect on
employee loyalty and commitment. The research was conducted using a descriptive and
exploratory research approach. The research population consisted of all employees in
Ghana's specified industries. Employees from the mining, finance, and manufacturing

studies. The report also suggests that industry stakeholders pay greater attention to
employee loyalty and dedication, since this would help the industry thrive and survive.
These are the indicators of job satisfaction:
One indicator is intrinsic satisfaction. According to the The Emerging Neuroscience
of Intrinsic Motivation or Satisfaction: A New Frontier in Self-Determination Research of
Deci (2017), Intrinsic Motivation or Satisfaction is even in the absence of operationally
separable incentives, people's natural dispositions to be curious and interested, seek out
challenges, and exercise and grow their skills and knowledge are referred to as intrinsic
motivation. Experimental and field research led by self-determination theory (Ryan and
Deci, 2017) has found that intrinsic motivation predicts increased learning, performance,
creativity, optimal development, and psychological wellbeing during the last four decades.
Intrinsic motivation is not the only type of motivation or even volitional activity in humans,
but it is a common and important one. Humans, at their best stages, are energetic,
inquisitive, curious, and lively animals from birth, exhibiting an innate desire to learn and
explore without the need for external stimuli. Because one improves in knowledge and
abilities by acting on one's innate interests, this natural motivational drive is a vital
component in cognitive, social, and physical growth. Although intrinsic motivation exists
inside individuals in one sense, it also exists in the relationship between persons and
activities in another. Some tasks are inherently motivating for people, while others are
not, and not everyone is naturally driven for every work.
