1. Challenges of mobile computing and mobile applications.
Mobile computing involves interactions between people and computer, whereby
computer is transported so as it can be used elsewhere. Security challenges are some of the
challenges faced by mobile computing and mobile applications; this may include problems of
storing username and password in a secure manner (Khalil, AND Weippl, 2013). This means that
organization must find ways of securing their password and usernames must be kept secret by
the organization heads. Furthermore, devices are stolen or lost, this provide security threats to the
organization since these devices may get into the hands of the potential organization attackers.
Consumers are supposed to be made aware of the importance of security in their mobile devices
Data leakages may also pose a major problem to mobile computing in an organization,
this may ensure information that is supposed to be well protected becomes public. Information
touching on members of the organization is supposed to be well kept away from outsiders of the
organization. However, the organization information may be accessed by people who may hack
the systems of the organization or who may get in touch with lost devices, carrying
organization’s information.
Malware infections may be spread from mobile devices to the organization network
which may attack crucial information of the organization. When malware attack an organization
systems, some important organization information may be lost, this may make the organization
to undergo some huge loses in the process of retrieving the lost information. Consumers are
supposed to be advised on the various ways of keeping their mobile devices safe from malware
attacks. This may damage the reputation of the brand especially when the potential customers
