J.T introduced the use of differentiation in the company. Differentiation can be looked as
sub division of jobs in a company, where different jobs are performed by different people.
Stanley lynch had spatial differentiation since its employees were working in different locations
for different departments and each department kept its own records. J.T introduced horizontal
differentiation where there is a particular system of whom reports to whom. This made it easy for
him to develop the online page- wiki, whereby they were going to store all the required
information concerning a particular department. With the online page, the IT department under
his leadership could store the information which later each of them could access and the
documents would be the same without each person having a different version of the same
document.
Integration in the department worked out because, it is only specific people who were
required to access that information will access it. integration ensures the safety of all the
documents and that the documents original version are kept. Integration ensures that only people
with authority can have access to some specific things in the company. For instance at Stanley
lynch, the managers could be tasked to handle various components of the departments they
headed and not each employee (Yee and Oh, 2013).
After J.T introduced the idea of having a common platform in terms of online operation
by creating the wiki-page, he showed the wiki page to the three top managers who shared it with
the management. This way the entire company could know adopt the new method. J.T used his
authority over the IT staff in his department to create the wiki page and later own the
management’s authority influenced the entire company and its branches to develop the wiki
