Classroom Philosophy
Classroom philosophy entails the mechanisms used by teachers to avoid disruptive
activities in class carried out by students. The most important part of the teaching experience
is to keep a good relationship with students including proper and clear communication
between students and teachers.
Managing my classroom is that all the students in my class will be treated with
respect. Always follow classroom rules which I shall explain to them the first day of class.
The students must behave in class but, if they can’t I will teach them how to behave in class
with learning strategies and group learning. I plan to develop and encourage classroom
motivation. Example, I will have a rewards systems implemented to encourage motivation.
There also be consequences when students don’t do their work. The classroom will be a safe
haven for student not only to learn but, have fun also. As a teacher is my responsibility to
make sure all students in my class learn responsibilities, and structure. If there no structure in
the classroom will be chaos. Cangelosi (2013) states using personal experiences to help
have discipline and structured.
Student-motivation will explore by students when learning about technology in
classroom. Student-engagement will be that the classroom is always interesting and change
classroom so students don’t get bored. A well-organized classroom will be engaged with
social interaction, active engagement will students learn. The physical environment will also
play a major role in having a classroom that students feel safe to come to. Self- efficacy will
teach students helping them master work and maybe problems that may arise in the
classroom. Self-encouragement shows students to have self-confidence in oneself.
