Elizabeth Chan is having problems related to cyber security which is greatly affecting

her company. She is the CEO of an electronics company. The company majorly focuses on

Micro Midget Widget which is used by in a wide range of hardware devices. The company is

well established with smooth running of business. She is an engineer and most of the

inventions in the company are from her. She is little knowledge of current IT and therefore,

the company has been at high risk of cyber attacks. The company has been subject to cyber

terrorism in the recently and has made things very hard for the company because most of the

company’s operations have had to stop. It has also coasted the company a lot of money

because of replacement of computer system as well as trying to put in palace certain measures

to maintain security.

Computer insecurity is a wide spread factor that is associated with various aspect

within an organization. This is because of the fact that computing has become a very

important aspect of today’s organization. In the case of Elizabeth Chan’s case, her company

has been affected in varied ways (Jones & Ashenden, 2005).

Computer insecurity is an aspect that is associated with the loss of important data and

information or destruction of processes through corruption of information. People linked with

computer insecurity usually have negative motives and thus makes it a criminal activity. It
