With the impacts that humans have on the natural environment brings economic development and
populations to reason, on the impacts they hold on the environment throughout the years. For any
situation to gain population, it will lead to urbanization of the land, which causes a decline in animals
that populated the land. There will be an influx of land cleared to accommodate the housing of the
population growth, which makes for the urban areas and towns to become part of the urbanization
factor and the rural areas basically stay the same; in essence.
Since the day of time when humans were part of Earth, there was a global economic development with
these oldest records of human activity and technology it is noted that crude stone tools that were made
up with a rough cutting edge, which have come a long way to our current laser etched blades on tools.
These vary tools have part in our economic growth towards the five different stages of economic
development. In the first stage of Hunter-gathering, there is notion to manipulate the environment less,
in ways for there to be adaptation to the very environmental conditions at stake. Moving into the
Riverine civilizations where there was use of irrigation used among the economies, which kept them
from dry seasons with this developed technology. The agricultural empires took these advancements
with technology to supersede the environmental barriers, so there could be an increase in production.
This furthermore brings into lite the Atlantic industrial era that has an economic core area that relies on
fossil fuels, while it separates it from the natural environment and major impacts on the given
environment. Now, next, the Pacific global era has a focus on the Pacific basin and the global economy
in mind for the reasoning of globalization of our very communications set forth.
Dating back to the era of 1800 AD in the Atlantic industrial eras the economic core depended on fossil
and this is how they began to see the affects of the industry development. With the shift in hand made
products to machine made products and a human experience increases productivity. This led the era to
a decline in environmental conditions, but brought improvements in transportation and scale
infrastructure. With the technology advances and the new industries raised more concerns with an
increase in fossil fuel consumption, which humans took part in these affects and the natural resources
that impacted the environment. Brought it to urbanization from the population increase making for
more land being required, which in lights the urban agglomerations.
The first three stages are where the changes in global economic development began. For this, the
Hunting-gathering, had the significant decrease in the movement in economic development. While in
this timeframe, there wasn’t damage by human activities, due to low population measures. Considering
for the Riverine civilizations where raw materials were at the forefront, which brought agriculture to it’s
development stages. Both eras were similar in ways, since technology and industries were included in
their economic development. The impacts from both were very different. Overall, the increase in the
economy by the mentioned related it to the environmental impacts sustained.
The agriculture empire is responsible for the contributions that manufacturing brought forth, which
paved the way for the need to export the goods. Through exporting raised concerns of its own, because
it had negative effects on the environment. The money from the profits ties into the growth in
population that led to urbanization. There was even an increase in the suburban areas and cities that are
correlated to the urban agglomerations.
There are several benefits and risks that Tokyo Japan brings into the urban agglomerations, which a
major front is the population trends among the land. As of 2015, it is noted, the population in Tokyo
Japan is estimated around 13 million, which makes up roughly 11% of their total population.
