Humans have existed alongside machines and technology since time immemorial. This

technique of shaping tools are evident in the beginning of the human culture. Technology has

been the core drive behind human development, civilization and advancement in life forms as far

as human undertakings are concerned. In the day to day world, technology has proved to be a

complex and powerful force that entail social enterprises in the field of research, labor, medicine,

management, military, labor, marketing, maintenance, finance, and design. In a broader

perspective, technology has extended the human ability to change the word; to move things to

suit human interests and to better human life in so far as survival needs are concerned.

With the advent of new technology and the digitalization of economic sectors, it is worth

noting that technology has forced many dynamics in the society at a warp speed. All that seemed

cutting edge some decades ago are just but quite antiquated due to these innovations. Many

companies are pushing for a campaign to have as many products as possible, sold by as few

employees as possible. ATM machines have dramatically reduced the human task force in

serving over the counter. Virtual assistants have taken the roles of attending to calls 24/7 and the

self-service machines have also significantly reduced the need for checkout clerks. Nonetheless,

the retail employment have hardly budged a year over, despite stronger sales in their major

chains. All thanks to the new robotic creatures.
