Corporate Social Responsibility
Corporate social responsibility is a management concept that integrates both
environmental and social concerns in business interactions and operations between business
operations and their stakeholders. Corporate social responsibility is mainly a type of self-
regulation in business management that contributes to the social goals of activists, a
philanthropic or charitable supports by supporting or engaging in ethically-oriented or
volunteering services (Wang, Tong, Takeuchi, & George, 2016). Corporate social responsibility
ensures that business operation is responsible and in line with the expectations of the public.
Corporate social responsibility is a primary approach to the company's governance and guides
every part of the business activities, including manufacturing, human resources, supply chain,
and health and safety practices (Wang, Tong, Takeuchi, & George, 2016).
Summary of Corporate Social Responsibility
A company enjoys many benefits related to corporate social responsibility. For instance,
corporate social responsibility allows the organization to establish good reputations. Corporate
social responsibility guides the organizations on partners to interact with and, in this case, the
ethically-oriented partners, it plays a significant role in ensuring that the organization's image is
not tampered with and that its reputation is reputation favorable to the community (Wang, Tong,
Takeuchi, & George, 2016). For instance, what the public thinks about a company is critical to
its successensuring that the public views a positive and clean business for the company helps
the company attract more business partners. The company always attracts positive attention
hence building a positive reputation. Social responsibility expands the image of a company to
