EFFECTS OF STRATEGIC PLAN 2
Strategic plan aims at bringing the future closer and allow the healthcare organization to
study and create a simulation of the future. It reveals the hidden opportunities and threats
providing an option to act. It establishes a clear framework with criteria for making day to day
decisions. When the healthcare properly implements the strategic plan they can benefit in various
ways as discussed below.
After a period approximately five years, the healthcare organization may realize some
benefits. They will have increased their clients using the marketing strategy. Effective marketing
strategies will attract more clients and if the strategy is continually followed and evaluated for its
effectiveness, there will be a great increase in the number of clients and might lead to a demand
for the expansion of the organization (Berger, 2008).
Strategic plan will demand for professionalism and increase in the services to the client.
This will demand more practitioners to attend to the increased number of the clients in the health
care organization. An increased number of the client will lead to an increase in revenue in the
organization increasing the chances of hiring the best practitioners and the nurses rendering the
best services to the patients. This will lead to improved services given to the patients (Moseley,
2009).
Well implemented strategic plan will also help in building the healthcare reputation to the
clients and to other people. This will boost the chances of getting even more clients. The
improved performance and the best practitioners will be in a position to building the reputation
thus building the reputation (Puckett, 2013).
Therefore, a properly implemented strategic plan over a period of time may lead to
expansion of the healthcare organization. This will bring a positive impact to the organization.
