It will also highlight the effectiveness of BI implementation in the business world. The paper will highlight three problems facing BI systems implementation that is slow processes, repetitive manual tasks and lack of connectivity. It will also offer solutions to solving these problems and improving the performance of BI systems. Current state of BI systems The article by the Paris Tech Blog identified the current issues facing the implementation of business intelligence systems and offered various solutions. Usage of BI systems has increased over the years, but its efficiency and effectiveness have been limited by various factors in the market the first of which being the repetition of manual tasks. The repetitive task of handling data manually is unproductive and bad for the morale of the employees (Paristech.com, 2016). BI systems cannot be effective when productivity is low, and the tasks are handled manually. The second problem that faces the implementation of the BI systems is the disconnected data.
