Syntactical Features in Hindi
Syntax in a concept in linguistic which refer to the governing rules applied in the process
of phrase, clause and sentence construction (Nordquist, 2019). Various languages have unique
rules which are easily comprehended by native speaker without much effect. Syntax therefore
gives guidance on the proper order that is used when constructing a sentence or a clause from
smaller parts. Syntax is important because it influences the meaning of a sentence or clause.
An analysis of the Hindi language shows that it follows a general word order of Subject +
Object +Verb. In this case the clause or sentence could be constructed using either a direct
object, an indirect one or even in some cases both. When constructing their sentences, the Hindi
language adopts vibhaktis (postposition) as its case marker. This is contrasted to the English
language which makes use of a proposition as a case marker. The English language combines a
proposition combined with a noun or pronoun to form a noun phase. ,,, ,, is an
example of a Vibhaktis that in suffixed to a pronoun or noun. In general practice sentence
construction in in the Hindi language can either opt to follow the Subject + Object +Verb as the
default word order (hindilanguage.info, 2015).
The word order in Hindi language is very distinct from the English language which
follows a subject, verb, object word order. An example of SOV word order in Hindi is  
   which is contrasted to the English SVO “I am eating rice”. A further comparison of the
Hindi language with English shows that since the adjectival participles of Hindi are often placed
before the words they seek to modify their word order can be considered as exact reverse of the
English language. Further since the language makes use of postpositional phrases which are
placed before the words the want to modify unlike English which makes use of prepositions
